Faribault Woolen Mills 1776 Flag Wool Throw

Faribault Woolen Mills 1776 Flag Wool Throw

We have at least half a dozen blankets strewn throughout the house. They’re perfect for keeping warm without having to turn up the heat or falling asleep on the couch. Very few are what you would consider display-worthy, the kind that gets draped over the back of a couch for all to see. Most have been collected over the years as small gifts. They serve their purpose but most often stay in a basket by the TV. The 1776 Flag Wool Throw from Faribault Woolen Mills would not garner that same fate.

The 1776 Flag Wool Throw salutes the original Betsy Ross flag and looks great whether it’s in use or folded up and hung over the back of the couch. The throw is made from an 85/15 blend of merino wool and cotton, which keeps it warm and soft. And as any flag-themed product should be, it’s made in America. At 50″ x 72″, it’s large enough to snuggle up under on a cold winter’s day or to toss on the ground for a summer picnic. Hopefully it’s going to be used for more picnics than having to keep warm.
