I’m going to leave this one here for discussion. I love plaid. I love fair isle. I love red, white and blue. But I’m not so sure I love them all together. There’s a lot going on here with this Fair Lake of the Isles Necktie from Mill City Fineries.
Mill City Fineries found this extremely interesting fabric in New York and then transported it back to the North Star State to transform it into a necktie. Now the question is, did they transform it into a masterpiece or a mash up that should not exist? I want to think that the fair isle is light enough that it slightly blends into the background, but I’m not so sure. This might be a stretch even for me. So what do you think, yes or no on this union of patriotism and winter motifs?
