Quarter zip season has arrived unseasonably early in Michigan this year. Even before August was out, temperatures were dipping into the 40s after dark. Things appear to be warming up here over the next week but it’s only a matter of time before the cooler temperatures are the norm. And for that it’s best to be prepared with a quarter zip or two, like the new Richard Quarter Zip from Southern Proper.
The Richard is the older brother of sorts to Southern Proper’s Nelson. It’s a touch more refined and grown up, rocking banded sleeves and a banded waist for a more polished look and fit. In accordance with the grown up look, the logo has moved to the back collar. Elbow patches add a little detail. This is the perfect partner for early fall bonfires with a glass of whiskey in your hand and the harvest moon above.
