Style Inspiration: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Every December, it’s tradition to watch Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in all its claymation glory.  Rudolph’s journey with Hermey and Yukon Cornelius to the Island of Misfit Toys, his encounters with the Abominable and his eventual saving of Christmas make the movie a classic.  But who would have guessed there was so much style inspiration to be taken from the clothing in the tale?

I’m not sure how I overlooked this, but we’re huge Rudolph fans, and decorate our whole great room with literally hundreds of Rudolph pieces (including ornaments on our 11′ live tree). This is great stuff… makes me want that first coat!
